Fall is upon us here at Fort Students! This past month of September has been a growing season for the students. The students finished the sermon series A.B.I.D.E. and are now going back to the sermon series, In the Beginning, which takes them through the book of Genesis. A few new students join us during our Wednesday night services, and we praise God for that! The Fort Students Worship Band has also grown, and more of the students are participating in the band with a willingness to worship and praise God! God is so good!

As we progress into fall, the students are growing in their walk with Christ, building close friendships, and serving their church and community by following God.

Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to serve God and accomplish His will for our lives.

This past Sunday, September 29, 2024, the Fort Students Worship Band led morning worship at the Fort, and it was truly remarkable!! The band led worship with the song Showed Your Grace, which was written by Emma Britton, and closed with King of His Children, written by Emmalea Patty. Both of these songs were written by students, and these songs are played during the worship service at Fort Students as well. It was amazing to see God working in the hearts and lives of the band as they minister to the congregation through worship!

We are thankful for students who serve on the band and our Associate Worship Minister, Travis Prentice, for leading them and instructing them as they lead worship to God. Please keep them in your prayers as they sing praises to God!

Lock-in is coming soon to The Fort! We will be having a Lock-in on Sunday, November 24th from 7 PM to 7 AM (Beginning of Thanksgiving Break) for Grades 6-12. The cost of the lock-in this year is $10 per student. The Lock-in will have praise and worship services along with a sermon and a night filled full of fellowship, food, fun, and games. More information will be announced closer to November 24.

This month at Fort Students, Squads will be on October 13th and October 27th. Squads will be from 6pm to 8pm on the third and fifth Sunday nights of this month of September. Please be advised, the location for Squads will be announced on the Fort Student social media pages (Facebook and Instagram) prior to our scheduled dates. As students attend the squads, they enjoy a good time of Bible learning, fellowship, and a deeper understanding of God's Word.

This month at Fort Students, we would like to recognize Riley Cate. Riley has shown a growing desire to follow God in his life! Riley's devotional time spent with God has caused his faith to grow along with his knowledge of God that has been rooted in his heart from the Word of God. As Riley follows after God to do His will for his life, please keep Riley in your prayers!
