Church membership is more than joining into the life of an organization, church membership is a commitment to joining a family. Church membership says, "I'm committed to Fort Baptist, and Fort Baptist is committed to me." As a member of Fort Baptist, you may vote on key decisions, provide input in these decisions, and be eligible for serving as the leader of a ministry team. Membership is a great way to deepen your commitment and increase your love for our church. We hope you will make Fort Baptist your home by becoming part of our family!

Joining Fort Baptist is easy! We want you to also know what you are joining into and find somewhere to connect. Because of that, we have four membership classes. These classes may be done in-person, or online. During the in-person classes, you will watch membership videos and take notes on a notetaker so you can have a document of what we believe, why we exist, how we operate, and what we do. The videos you'll watch in-person are the same videos you may watch online, but when you watch the videos online, there will be a brief video summary to fill out online while you watch. After attending all four classes or watching all four videos online, you will be eligible for membership and we will present you to the church as a new member, have a membership luncheon to celebrate the completion of your classes, and then have a membership luncheon after a Sunday morning service.
