What is the purpose of serving in Fort Kids?
The purpose of the Fort Kids Ministry Team at Fort Baptist Church is to provide an age-appropriate high energy service for kids, nursery to 5th grade, where they can connect with Jesus. The Fort Kids Ministry Team is one of the most important ministries at Fort Baptist, obeying Jesus’s words in Matthew 19:14, “But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” You have the blessed opportunity to help children learn about Jesus, start a relationship with Jesus, and grow in that relationship. You also provide the parent(s)/guardian(s) an opportunity to engage in a distraction free service where they can connect with other adults, hear a Gospel message, start a relationship with Jesus and/or grow in that relationship. Know that you are changing lives in our community, children learn about Jesus through your heart to teach and love the children in our community.
