What Can I Expect?

Worship

Our worship service is biblical and engaging. You will hear popular songs that you hear on the radio, so be ready to sing along! If you would like to use your Spiritual Gifts serving on our worship team, please contact our Pastor, Ryan Ralston, at Ryan@Fortbc.org.

Children

We believe kids are a vital part of the church. Currently, we provide Fort Kids Ministry service on Sunday mornings during our 9:30 and 11am worship services for children age 0 to 2nd grade. As we continue to grow we will provide more and more options through Fort Kids. We have a plan to implement a service for children thru the 5th grade.

Children of all ages are welcome to attend our worship service. For those who wish to keep their child(ren) with them in service, but need a room to tend to their child(ren)'s needs, we offer a Mothering Room. The Mothering Room allows adults the opportunity to engage in the worship service while tending to their child(ren)'s needs. The soundproof room is located at the back of the sanctuary with a glass window and speakers that allows adults to engage in service from inside the Mothering Room. There are chairs, changing tables, toys, and a restroom inside the room.

We believe worship as a family is vital in a child's foundation and for the health of the church. Children stay in service during worship and are dismissed after worship for Fort Kids Ministry service. During this service, children engage in Scripture with a lesson and games/activities to help reinforce the lesson. Children also review the memory verse for the day. At Fort Baptist, family worship is valued, and to encourage family worship, every 4th and 5th Sunday is our Family Worship Service. During Family Worship Service, children attend the whole Adult Worship Service. It is a blessing to have children be a part of the service.

We also have Fort Kids on Wednesdays at 6:45! The kids have a great time learning more about the Bible through activities, games, and a lesson!

Students

Fort Students is a place where your students can not only have fun, but they can also connect with God and grow as a follower of Jesus. The students meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 for Fort Students Ministry service. Fort Students Ministry offers monthly events, summer camp, prayer retreats, discipleship, and mission opportunities throughout the year. Check our 'Upcoming Events' tab for more information, or email our student minister, Donny Lewis, at Donny@Fortbc.org.

Sermon

At Fort Baptist, you'll participate in worship by reading God's word and engaging in sermons that are Biblical, life-changing, and applicable to your life. You can expect every sermon to be Biblically grounded, Jesus-centered, and missionally focused.

Wednesdays

Wednesday nights are big for kids and students. Right now we prioritize reaching kids, grades K-5th, with Fort Kids, and students, grades 6-12, with Fort Students. We do not have Squads or groups for adults on Wednesdays at this time, but they are coming, soon!

What should I wear?

Most people dress casually, but wear what makes you most comfortable

How long are Sunday services?

Sunday services are around an hour in length. We start by singing, have a time of fellowship, sing some more, and then hear a biblical and engaging message from our pastor. After service we have time for getting to know people, and following through with any decisions at our Enlist Table you made during service.

Let us know you're coming

"Everything we do at Fort Baptist is to glorify Jesus and help someone know Jesus. You'll know that from your very first visit."

Pastor, Ryan Ralston
